Flooring Services · Kuala Lumpur & Selangor
Premium indoor timber flooring installed by craftsmen with over a decade of experience across the Klang Valley.
Timber flooring remains one of the most sought-after interior finishes in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor homes, prized for the warmth, acoustics, and long-term value it brings to a living space. AH Flooring supplies and installs premium timber flooring — from tropical solid hardwood to engineered multi-ply boards — for landed houses, condominiums, offices, and boutique retail spaces throughout the Klang Valley.
Every timber flooring project begins with a site assessment of subfloor moisture, slab levelness, and room usage, because the right timber species and construction (solid versus engineered) depends heavily on local humidity and the substrate it sits on. Our team has installed timber flooring in high-rise condominiums in Mont Kiara, landed homes in Petaling Jaya, and commercial offices in KLCC, giving us first-hand experience with the moisture and acclimatisation challenges specific to Malaysian buildings.
Living and dining rooms, bedrooms, home offices, boutique retail stores, corporate offices, and feature staircases where a premium, warm finish is desired.
AH Flooring only sources timber that has been kiln-dried to the correct equilibrium moisture content for Malaysian humidity, preventing the cupping and gapping that occurs when timber sourced for temperate climates is installed here without proper acclimatisation. Our installers also assess subfloor moisture with a meter before laying any board, rather than proceeding on assumption.
Wide-plank, herringbone, chevron, and classic strip layouts, in matte, semi-gloss, and hand-scraped textured finishes.
Natural Oak, Walnut Brown, Smoked Oak, Honey Teak, and Espresso.
1) Subfloor moisture testing and levelling. 2) Acclimatisation of timber boards on-site for 48-72 hours. 3) Installation of a moisture barrier underlay where required. 4) Fixing boards via nail-down, glue-down, or floating method depending on substrate. 5) Skirting, scotia, and final sanding/finishing for solid timber. Typical residential rooms are completed in 3-5 working days.
Use a slightly damp (never wet) microfibre mop; place felt pads under furniture; avoid direct sun exposure on unprotected boards for prolonged periods; re-coat or re-sand solid timber every 7-10 years depending on foot traffic.
